They each have games to play, which after playing once, unlocks to play on Arcade and Index mode. All the cutscenes for the characters are fully animated and voiced over, each following a mini-plot.

The synopsis is the Wario has stolen a gold artifact and later wants to buy pizza, but has no money to do so. New games have been made for the game, and previous ones have been reworked to use the controls of the 3ds. Great game! It requires you to think quickly and learn what each of the 300 microgames do, so you can get a high score.
